"Youngsters aged between 15 years to 18 years are eligible to take covid vaccine COVAXIN, registration slot in CoWIN will be open from 1st January onwards. " As per Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.


We Pace Hospitals have started covid vaccination for 15-18 age group at our Hitech City and Madinaguda, Hyderabad branches. Book your slot or walk-in for vaccination, spot vaccination certificate will be provided.

Government of India is taking all necessary steps to ensure that the nation is prepared to face the challenge and threat posed by the growing contagion of COVID-19. The exemplary groundwork and precaution advisory by the Government has helped in containing the spread of the virus in our country. At present, the priority is to make COVID -19 vaccine available to all, ensuring vaccine traceability and beneficiary tracking from production to last mile administration.


Currently three vaccines - Covaxin (manufactured by Bharat Biotech Limited), Covishield (Oxford-AstraZeneca's vaccine manufactured by Serum Institute of India) and Sputnik-V Vaccine is available for the citizens.


COVID-19 vaccination drive has been initiated to cover healthcare and frontline workers and is to be scaled up to cover citizens above 60 years of age and and/or citizen above 45 years of age suffering from comorbidities.

How to do registration for covid vaccine online?

Those who are looking to register for Covid-19 vaccination, can visit the website (cowin.gov.in) and can start doing self registration. A person can register with his / her Mobile no. and Photo ID proof (Aadhar Card, Driving License, PAN Card, Passport, Pension Passbook, NPR Smart Card, Voter ID) with total 4 members including him / her for vaccination.

Is covid vaccine safe in India?

Yes, covid vaccine in India are absolutely safe. Currently, Covishield, Covaxin and Sputnik-V two dose vaccines are administering in India. Covovax and Corbevax will soon be available for public. As per the recent data, those who all are fully vaccinated are safe against the coronavirus.

Is it safe to take covid vaccine?

Yes, covid vaccines are absolutely safe and effective against SARS-CoV-2 virus. People may develop some side effects like body pain or fever that may remain for 24 to 48 hours.

Is it safe to take paracetamol after covid vaccine?

Yes, a person can take paracetamol after taking covid vaccine to treat the mild side effects like body pain and fever. Taking paracetamol is safe after covid-19 vaccination.

Is covid vaccine safe for diabetics?

As per the recent data, it is safe for diabetes patients to take covid vaccine. In case if having any of the mild side effects that prolonged for more than 48 hrs, kindly consult your primary care physician.

Who all can take booster dose of covid vaccine in India?

As per recent research, third dose or booster dose of covid vaccine will help in fighting with new variants to SARS-CoV-2 virus. COVAXIN, COVISHIELD and SPUTNIK-V 1st dose is currently available as a booster shot in India, all persons aged 18 years and above can take booster dose if they are fully vaccinated. Fully vaccinated person who have had 2 shots of covid vaccine can take a COVID-19 booster shot 3 to 6 months after their second dose.

How to download COVID-19 vaccination certificate in India?

After taking COVID-19 vaccine, vaccinated person can download certificate by login in through CoWIN or Aarogya Setu or Umang app using mobile number given during vaccination or used during registration for vaccination. Both first dose and second dose certificates are available to download if successfully vaccinated.

How to book an appointment for Covid-19 Vaccination at Pace Hospitals?

  • Kindly do self-registration. To register or sign in for vaccination, kindly follow the self-registration process as mentioned below or fill up the Covid-19 Vaccination Appointment Request Form to book an appointment for vaccination in Pace Hospitals, Hyderabad.

After successful registration, login Co-WIN and follow these steps to book an appointment-

  • Step 1 - Click on schedule appointment
  1. To add multiple individuals in a single Dose 2 appointment, the vaccine and Dose 1 date must be same.
  2. The second dose of COVAXIN should be taken between 28 days to 42 days after the first dose. The second dose of COVISHIELD should be taken between 28 days to 56 days after the first dose.

As per recent update, all states in India requested the Centre to increase the vaccination drive and open it for all age groups. In reply to that Ministry of Health and Family Welfare | GOI, Secretary (H&FW) - Shri. Rajesh Bhushan said during a press conference on Tuesday 6th April 2021, “People are asking why vaccination is not available for all age groups. Currently, there are mainly two aims – 1. To prevent deaths and 2. To strengthen and protect healthcare system.” he mentioned. Currently, vaccination drive is available for only those who actually need it since vaccine supply is limited, providing it to most vulnerable sections of the society is the primary goal to reduce the mortality.

Government of India initiated the campaign TIKA UTSAV to further speed up the world's Largest Vaccine Drive on the occasion of birth anniversary of social activist Jyotiba Phule ie 11 April 2021, a campaign ending on 14 April 2021 and aimed to vaccinate as many as possible citizens to safeguard them. Prime Minister Narendra Modi make four requests to the citizens. The requests were listed as "Each One-Vaccinate One, Each One-Treat One, Each One-Save One, and creation of micro-containment zones". He further requested everyone to take pledge, follow the safety measures and help others. People can use mobile no. or email id to take the pledge. Do your's bit and take a pledge to make a nation safe.

Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) gave approval for restricted emergency use of COVID-19 "The Sputnik V vaccine" in INDIA; will be rolling out in small quantities likely to begin as early as May 2021. The Sputnik V (Gam-COVID-Vac) with proven 91.6% efficacy, is based on a safe and tested human adenovirus vector platform, using two different human adenoviral vectors is a unique approach that allows to boost the immune response and provide long-lasting immunity. The Sputnik V is one of the three vaccines in the world with efficacy of over 90%. Sputnik V’s efficacy was validated by internationally peer reviewed data published in The Lancet. The vaccine supplies for the INDIA will be produced by Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF’s), international partner.


The Sputnik V COVID-19 Vaccine combined vector vaccine (Component I & Component II) has been developed by Gamaleya National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Moscow, Russia and is approved in 30 countries across the world and became the world’s first registered vaccine against coronavirus.

"All persons aged 18 years and above can get the vaccination, there will be no need for comorbidity certificate for Individuals with age 45 to 59 years" As 1st April 2021.


Till 31st March 2021 vaccination open only for individuals with age 60 years or older (birth year 1961 or earlier) and individuals with age 45 years or older (birth year 1976 or earlier) can register if they have any comorbidity applicable.

General advice to the public

We observed that the young age group population are under the misconception that nothing will happen to them if they tested positive for COVID-19. They have to keep in mind they can spread this virus to their friends, parents and other persons as well. There are many incidence happened when young people died because of this, so don’t take Coronavirus (COVID-19) lightly. If tested positive get COVID-19 treatment on priority before this becomes emergency.
